Dr. Richard Kellogg Dr. Richard Kellogg was born and raised in southeastern Washington state. He attended Eastern Washington University and received his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Optometry degrees from the Southern California College of Optometry.
Dr. Kellogg has practiced general Optometry in Spokane since 1978. In addition to general eye health care, Dr. Kellogg has special training and interest in contact lens fitting, sports vision and childrens eyecare. Dr. Kellogg provides eyecare for infants to adults and strives to prevent and treat visual and eye health conditions with the latest treatment options and technology available.
Dr.Kellogg is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Optometric Physicians of Washington and the Inland Society of Optometrists. For 20 years, he has worked monthly as a volunteer optometrist at the Walt Michaelis Vision Clinic in the Union Gospel Mission.
Dr.Kellogg and his wife, Susan have lived in North Spokane for 23 years. They have two children, Ashley and Ryan and look forward to being a part of the Spokane community for many more years.
Dr. Jessica Connolly A Spokane native, Dr. Jessica Connolly received her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Oregon, in which she graduated with academic honors. During this time Dr. Connolly realized that she had a passion for the healthcare field, and decided to pursue eye care at the New England College of Optometry in Boston. She obtained her Doctorate of Optometry and was awarded the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society for her outstanding academic and clinical achievement.
After completing optometry school, Dr. Connolly worked as the sole optometrist for a refractive surgery clinic for two years where she gained expertise in Lasik and PRK. She then completed a residency in primary care and ocular disease at the Spokane VA Medical Center. She gained extensive experience with diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration and glaucoma. She also received advanced training in specialty contact lens fitting.
Dr. Connolly is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society, American Optometric Association and the Optometric Physicians of Washington. She recently traveled to Kenya with a local non-profit organization to volunteer eye care services to a community in need.
Dr. Connolly’s passion is to provide thorough and quality eye care to all of her patients. She has particular interest in glaucoma, diabetes and macular degeneration. She looks forward to many years of providing care to Spokane’s community.
